Make A Change

Since we started offering this service, it’s been incredibly beneficial to a lot of our patients. It’s helped younger and older patients. It does not affect your bite, but it can correct the alignment of your teeth. That can make a huge difference in how you feel about your smile.
Traditional orthodontics (such as metal braces) can take 18 months or longer to correct the position of your teeth. There are times when this is the best option for you.
But for many adults, their alignment issues are less about health and more about looks. They can bite and chew without any problems. Yet, they may feel the need to smile with their lips firmly held together in photos. We’ve also noticed that many people will cover their mouth with a hand when they speak if they feel self-conscious about their teeth.
If you have done these things or something similar, then it may be worth your time to find out more about Six Month Smiles. As the name suggests, you could be looking at a better smile in the mirror in about half a year.

How It Works

Six Month Smiles is a kind of braces. It still uses brackets and wires. The clear brackets make them more discreet than traditional metal braces. But that’s not the biggest difference between these treatment options.
As we noted in the opening, this is primarily a cosmetic treatment. It’s often only necessary to move some of your teeth to improve your smile. That’s exactly what this treatment does.
It uses the same tools (brackets and wires) to apply gentle pressure to the teeth that will make the most difference in the look of your smile. Those are the teeth in the front of your mouth.
These also happen to be the smallest teeth, so it takes less time to get them realigned.
You can use the option to close gaps between your teeth, to correct crooked and crowded teeth, to fix overbites, and more.
