Root canals have a bad reputation. But they don’t really deserve them. They take pain away, they don’t cause it. This is especially true at Elizabeth Kilpatrick-Fox, DMD.
If the idea of root canal treatment makes you uneasy, check out our video of one of our patients. Our team does all it can to make you comfortable from start to finish. That includes gently propping your mouth open so you don’t have to worry about it and following up with you the next day to see how you’re doing. As our patient Kathy notes, the follow-up call gives you a chance to ask any questions you may not have thought of while here for your procedure.
We thoroughly numb your mouth prior to a root canal or any other treatment that may cause discomfort. Many of our patients require no more than this local anesthesia. But an oral sedative is available if you’re nervous or worried about remaining relaxed during your root canal.
